CQ LawTrack makes it easy to see how pending legislation would impact existing laws by linking the text of a bill to the sections of the public law and U.S. code it would modify.
You can even create custom e-mail alerts that give you an early warning when bills are introduced that might affect the laws you monitor.
CQ LawTrack integrates the following services on CQ.com:
- U.S. Code. U.S. Code provides you with the complete text of the United States Code, in the most up-to-date version available—usually within one week after a bill has been enacted into law.
- Public Law Text. Offers you the full text of every public law dating to the first Congress in 1789.
- Bill Text. Gives you the full searchable text of all bill versions, with links to a PDF of the bill from the U.S. Government Printing Office Web site.
U.S. Code, Public Law Text and Bill Text are also available as stand-alone services.
