CQ Summits
In Depth Discussions Inside the Beltway and Beyond
CQ Summits are custom event offerings that follow an “executive roundtable” format promoting open dialogue among stakeholders representing diverse views on some of the most pressing public policy issues. These discussions can take place inside the beltway or beyond. When outside the beltway, we partner with our sister publication GOVERNING magazine, which targets policymakers and staff at the state and local level. Combining the CQ and Governing reach allows you to seamlessly integrate federal, state and local policy objectives in a single, “turn-key” program that gets your message in front of nearly 100,000 subscribers from City Hall to the State House and the White House.
The topic, agenda and venue for each Summit are set in close consultation with our sponsor. Throughout the process, CQ remains true to its founding principles of editorial objectivity, fairness and balance by retaining editorial control over the direction of the event and ensuring the highest quality of participation and substantive debate.
The Program:
- Half-day (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
- Twenty key stakeholders taking part in the entire discussion
- Opening remarks from leading policy makers (such as governors, mayors and/or members of Congress)
- Sponsor representative joins us at the table to offer opening and closing remarks and, as appropriate, participate in the discussion itself.
Benefits:
- Turn-key, high impact event
- Branding and visibility
- Program and participant input
- Program participation
- Expanded reach through Executive Summary
- Lasting impact hosting a Virtual Community
Enhance your sponsorship and expand your reach by developing an executive summary of the CQ Policy Summit that can be distributed as a “sponsored insert” in CQ Weekly and GOVERNING Magazines. Virtual community. One of the most exciting end products of our summits is a keen desire for continued dialogue. Now, CQ and GOVERNING are able to offer sponsors the opportunity to host an ongoing online dialogue among program participants.
Each Summit is videotaped and can be posted and archived on CQ Politics.com and GOVERNING.com. Live Web casting (where available) is also available for an additional fee.
